كشفت فورد عن مواصفات الأداء لموديلي اكسبديشن وF-150 طرازي 2018 ، ونبدأ مع F-150 الذي يأتي بصورة قياسية بمحرك V6 سعة 3.3 لتر بنظام حقن مباشر للوقود ويحل محل المحرك السابق V6 سعة 3.5 لتر ويولد المحرك الجديد قوة 290 حصان وعزم دوران 358 نيوتن.متر بزيادة 8 حصان و16 نيوتن.متر عن السابق.
كما تأتي السيارة بمحرك أكثر قوة ايكوبوست سعة 2.7 لتر بقوة 325 حصان وعزم دوران 541 نيوتن.متر كما ظل في الخدمة المحرك V8 سعة 5 لتر المستعار من موستانج شيلبي GT350 بقوة زادت الي 395 حصان وعزم دوان 541 نيوتن.متر بزيادة 10 حصان و17 نيوتن.متر عن السابق. وترتبط غالبية المحركات بناقل حركة أوتوماتيك من 10 سرعات مع تقنية ستارت ستوب.
وبالنسبة لنسخة اكسبديشن فتأتي بمحرك ايكوبوست سعة 3.5 لتر بناقل حركة أوتوماتيك من 10 سرعات بقوة 375 حصان وعزم دوران 636 نيوتن.متر بينما نسخة بلاتينيوم من السيارة تأتي بقوة 400 حصان وعزم دوران 650 نيوتن.متر.
